The more healthy relationships a child has, the more likely he will be to recover from trauma and thrive. Relationships are the agents of change and the most powerful therapy is human love.

For over 25 years, I've dedicated my career to the intersection of mental health and education. With a diverse background spanning PK-12 education, residential treatment, mental health clinics and carceral settings, my journey has been driven by a passion for empowering others through increased awareness and heartfelt guidance.

My journey has also included extensive experience with neurodivergence in toddlers to young adults, further enriching my understanding of unique service needs and diverse perspectives. I believe in supportive services that empower individuals and families to thrive and effectively advocate for themselves.

My passion extends beyond the professional realm. I have personal experience with neurodivergence, and I am the mother of a son diagnosed with autism at 14 months old. I have navigated the system both as a parent and a practitioner, providing a balanced perspective of the varying needs of diverse communities. Whether in a counseling session, a classroom, or any community setting, I strive to make a positive impact that encourages equity-centered practices delivered in a healing-centered way.

I am blessed to share my life with my childhood sweetheart. Cooking, friendship, laughter, continual learning, music, hanging with family, and hosting friends are some of the things that enrich our lives.
